for a big anime fan, i haven’t actually watched that many anime… it’s a little embarrassing, lol (￣▽￣*)ゞ however, i have a pretty long watchlist... that said, here are the top anime on my watchlist for 2023! these are not necessarily anime that are coming out in 2023, just anime that i want to watch this year :3

bocchi the rock

i've been seeing this anime everywhere. fanart, clips, song mashups etc. it basically seems like the modern k-on, lol (*≧ω≦*) the music is good as hell too. it looks really fun to watch, which is why it's so high up on my watchlist.

the day i became a god

this anime came out in 2020, but i hadn't heard of it til recently. while it looks like just another moe anime, it is from the creator of clannad, angel beats and charlotte, so i'm hoping for good things, and lots of feels, lol :3

made in abyss season 2

despite loving the first season, for some reason i never got round to watching the second season of this anime. i really, really want to see how it goes though O_o

one piece

yes, i'm finally tackling the big one. after years of avoiding the big three like a plague, this year i'm finally going in. maybe. possibly. i'm never gonna watch naruto, and maybe i'll watch some of bleach someday, but one piece is an anime i've actually wanted to watch for a while. so, wish me luck (☆ω☆)
